PC-ABS is one of the most widely used thermoplastic engineering plastics, combining the toughness of ABS with the high strength and heat resistance of PC. Mostly used in the automotive, home appliance and telecommunications industries, prototypes made with this material in conjunction with FORTUS equipment are around 60% stronger than parts made with traditional FDM systems, so using PC-ABS gives you a truly thermoplastic part. This includes concept models, functional prototypes, manufacturing tools and final parts.

 

PC-ABS combines the excellent properties of both materials, with the highest impact strength and tensile strength, and a heat deflection temperature of 110°C, making it the most widely used material for film injection.
